Sunnyvale Record Club

Sunnyvale Record Club Online

Join us for a discussion of a musical album or topic! First, we pick the music ahead of the meeting. You can listen on your own or wait until the meeting to hear it for the first time. Then, we gather in Zoom and listen to the music together. We share our thoughts on the tracks, the artists and broader issues in music and the music industry. Sounds cool, right?

This month is Silicon Valley Reads, a community engagement program focused on the themes of kindness, resilience and hope. To coincide with this program, we will be discussing songs about the COVID-19 pandemic meant to inspire these emotions. How do these songs document a historical moment? Will you be able to listen to these songs in five years? In ten? Check back for a YouTube and Spotify playlist of songs we may play during the meeting.

This program is part of Silicon Valley Reads 2022. For more information visit SiliconValleyReads.org.

Sunnyvale Record Club typically meets on the third Monday of each month. This month it has been moved to Thursday due to the Feb. 21 Library closure for President's Day.
