Book to Action: Storytelling Workshop

Book to Action: Storytelling Workshop Online

Sunnyvale Public Library invites you to tell us your American story. Whether the story is about immigration, living in America, or exploring what it means to be an American. Your story could be an essay, a letter to America, a poem or piece of visual art.

In this lightly-guided Storytelling Workshop, participants will be given an series of prompts and some quiet time to write or sketch pieces of their stories. There will also be time for a few participants to share briefly with the group if they wish.

Every one of us has an American story, and we want to celebrate yours. Our goal is to create space for every participant to begin exploring their American story.

This program is a part of Book to Action: Sunnyvale Reads Dear America. Share your American story and submit your essay, poem or artwork. For more information and to learn about other programs visit Book to Action.
