UC Master Gardeners: Blueberries in Abundance

UC Master Gardeners: Blueberries in Abundance Online

If you want to include Blueberries in your garden, January is a great time to plan and prepare for early spring planting. Blueberry bushes are a lovely addition to the landscape, but they can be tricky to grow in Santa Clara County. Proper site selection and soil preparation are key. You will also want to know how to choose the right varieties, how to buy and transplant your plants, and how to care for them for optimal berry production. This talk will be presented by Master Gardener Jeff Jenks, who has been growing and eating blueberries for years.
