Creativity and Collaboration for Young Minds with Habitat Youth Leaders

Creativity and Collaboration for Young Minds with Habitat Youth Leaders Online

Flex your creative and collaborative skills in this fun workshop for elementary schoolers! Join Habitat Youth Leaders for a plethora of collaborative and engaging activities for students to interact with others and work on soft and social skills in a virtual environment.

The workshop will begin with an explanation of importance of creativity and the dive straight into exciting ice breaker games, followed by improv and simple speaking activities, followed by choose your own adventure stories, and concluded by collaborative team games. Engaging with peers can be difficult during this isolating time, and this workshop will give students tools for sparking their own creativity and working with others socially to realize their ideas. For grades K-4. Please note that we will ask for cameras and microphones ON for this event.

Habitat Youth Leaders is a high school run, completely free, organization to mentor elementary school students on soft skills during COVID-19. Our mission is to provide an exciting outlet for elementary schoolers in which they can develop necessary soft skills such as leadership, time management, problem solving, and engaging ways for them to interact with their peers which is very difficult during COVID-19. https://www.habitatyouthleaders.org/
