Local Pollinators and Citizen Science Online

Join us for a virtual talk with Dr. Stacy Philpott from UCSC’s Center for Agroecology to learn about local pollinators. Dr. Philpott will give an overview of local pollinators and their habitats. Her team will also go over the basics of Citizen Science and how efforts like pollinators counts help scientists with their research.

This talk is a companion to the April 4 program Citizen Science: Pollinator Count at Charles Street Garden, which will focus on the kinds of pollinators that you might see in the Charles Street Garden. You do not need to attend this talk to participate in the Pollinator Count, and likewise you can attend this talk and not attend the Pollinator Count.

This talk will take place online over Zoom. Registration is required.
