Financial Literacy, Part 1: Basic Concepts, Banking, Inflation In-Person
Many of us were never formally taught how to manage our finances. This three-part series on financial literacy seeks to help fill this gap.
In the first session, students will learn basic financial concepts such as compounding, discounting, ROI (return on investment) and opportunity cost. Key banking concepts and inflation will also be covered.
This program is for adults and will take place in the Library Program Room. Registration is required.
Attending all three classes is recommended, but each session will be valuable on its own if you can't make it to all of them. Next in the series:
