The Buzz on Beeswax: From Biology to Candle Making In-Person

Explores the biological origins, uses and sustainability of beeswax, one of nature’s most fascinating and versatile materials. Dive into the science of how honeybees produce wax and learn about its role inside the hive. Then, roll their own beeswax candle to take home.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Planet Bee Foundation is committed to fostering environmental stewardship and STEM education through the lens of pollinators. They empower future generations by teaching the importance of bees as a gateway to science, conservation, and sustainability.

This program is for adults and takes place in the Library Program Room. Registration is required.
