Unpacking Artificial Intelligence(For Beginners)! - Silicon Valley Reads In-Person
Join us for an introductory workshop for preteens and teens. During the workshop, students will learn about:
- Basics of Artificial Intelligence
- Applications of Artificial Intelligence in today’s world
- Ethical issues that surround the use of Artificial Intelligence
This workshop is led by Kaashvi Mittal, the founder of a nonprofit organization called Together We AI. Together We AI aims to make AI education accessible to everyone.
The workshop is part of the Silicon Valley Reads 2025 program: "Empowering Humanity: Technology for a Better World"
This program will be in the Program Room. Register if you would like a reminder the day before the event; drop-ins welcome.
This program is for grades 6-12.

The Silicon Valley Reads community engagement program is presented annually by the Santa Clara County Library District, Santa Clara County Office of Education, and San José Public Library in conjunction with other public libraries, community colleges and universities and community organizations.
