Now is a great time to be starting your warm-season vegetable garden. In this talk, Master Gardener Laura Monczynski will explain how you can plant a garden to yield fresh vegetables all summer long. Topics covered will include the basics of site selection, soil preparation, and planting and maintaining warm-season crops such as tomatoes, peppers, beans and squash. Laura will also discuss growing in containers and what to do about some of the pests you may encounter here in Santa Clara County.
